Today seemed to be a regular day but I quickly realised that it would probably be unique for the entire journey as I would be on dirt roads for the majority of the day. And dirt roads mean fewer cars.

I am sharing this experience with you now to let you know that 1900 Footprints is not just a genuine effort to raise awareness for conservation in Australia, but it also represents a step in my own personal journey.

There are over 1900 species in danger of extinction in Australia. Tristan is walking from Adelaide to Melbourne and around Tasmania to raise money and awareness for conservation activities to protect these species.
